The training includes a program of 7 jumps at 4000ft (1200m).
One day of training, then the 1st jump can be done on the same day. You will then be able to pilot your sail for 8 minutes, the time to return to dry land.
You will be guided by radio from the ground by an instructor.
The 7 training jumps are filmed from the plane by the instructor and viewed after the jump with the student for the debriefing.
The first 3 jumps consist of a simple “School” outing from the plane. The main wing is deployed automatically by an automatically opening strap which is attached to the aircraft.
The student will experience approximately three seconds of free fall before the parachute opens automatically.
The student then performs 4 additional automatic opening jumps where he demonstrates his ability through a "simulation" to pull himself a fictitious opening handle of his parachute, always under the gaze of his instructor.
The parachute always opens automatically by the automatic opening strap action.
After the successful opening simulations, the student is then authorized to perform his first free fall jump.
END OF INITIAL TRAINING 7 POA JUMPS (according to the student's assimilation.)
The first free fall lasts about 3 seconds during which the student begins the immediate opening sequence of his parachute.
The following jumps gradually go to higher altitudes 1500m, 2000m, 2500m, etc. with longer free fall times 5, 10, 20 seconds, etc.
The student enters a less structured program in which he jumps with an instructor who films his jumps to improve his skills and teach him more advanced techniques in order to prepare him for Certification A.
After completing a total of 20 jumps he is ready for the A Certification.
Minimum 2 people to organize the training
